Reasons for Choosing Time and Attendance Modules Software
IPF were interested in relevant modules within the Time and Attendance system, for several reasons. The overall functionality of the Mitrefinch TMS system enabled Advance Systems to fulfill IPFs workforce requirements. Requirements included:
Entitlements
TMS will accurately calculate holiday entitlements across all staffing groups. This removes the need to manually calculate entitlement values for staff and means there will always be an accurate up-to-date balance available.
Employee Self Service
The Employee Self Service module facilitates employees accessing their entitlement, clock-card and personal information. Employees can request holiday and other absences in advance and also make amendments to historical work records. Employees can make amendments to their personal details when needed such as change of address, marital status and so on. There will be a timesaving benefit of staff not having to go to line managers of HR to make these changes as they can now do them directly on the system.

Reports
One of the main requirements was to enable the HR department to quickly and accurately extract key labour reports such as headcount, turnover, employee details, checklists and so on from the system. These reports can be broken down by the organisational structure within the company.
Employment History
Everything will be on the system. This helps greatly when trying to find historical records in the event they are needed, it’s all stored in the one place and it’s easy to find.
